1. Scope and Acceptance
This Terms of Use governs the use of the website published at www.karcem.com.tr (the “Site”). By visiting the Site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the Site. The Site is operated by KARCEM Tekstil San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“KARCEM”).
2. Purpose of the Site and Nature of the Content
The Site presents KARCEM's production capabilities, product groups and industry knowledge content. No content on the Site constitutes an offer, a binding proposal or a commitment. The technical guides in the Knowledge Hub are for general information and do not replace engineering advice for a specific product, process or application.
3. Technical Data and Tolerances
Fabric weights, widths, composition ratios, capacity figures, lead times and test results published on the Site are indicative. Actual values vary with yarn lot, knit structure, finishing recipe and dye batch. Binding values are established only through a written quotation, an approved sample and lab-dip approval.
4. Samples, Quotations and the Order Process
Quotation and sample requests submitted through the Site do not by themselves create an order. An order relationship is formed by the written agreement of the parties (acceptance of a quotation, proforma or contract). Minimum order quantity (MOQ), lead time and price are determined separately according to colour, weight, composition and quantity. No price information is published on the Site.
5. Certificates and Compliance Statements
GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, OEKO-TEX and similar certificates referred to on the Site are issued by the relevant certification bodies and have their own validity periods and scopes. Producing an order within a certified scope depends on a written request at the time of ordering and on the issuance of a valid transaction certificate. Current status should be confirmed through the certification body's own verification system.
6. Intellectual Property
The texts, technical guides, photographs, graphics, logo and design elements on the Site belong to KARCEM or its licensors and are protected under Turkish Law no. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works and related legislation. Content may be quoted with attribution and a link; commercial reproduction, adaptation or republication requires KARCEM's written permission.
7. Use by Artificial Intelligence Systems
Crawling of the Site's content by search and generative artificial-intelligence systems, and citation with attribution, are permitted. The machine-readable form of these permissions is published in /robots.txt and /.well-known/ai.txt.
8. Limitation of Liability
KARCEM exercises reasonable care to keep the information on the Site current and accurate, but does not warrant that the content is uninterrupted, error-free or fit for every purpose. KARCEM cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from decisions taken in reliance on information on the Site. This provision does not limit KARCEM's liability arising from its written quotations and contracts.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third parties; KARCEM is not responsible for their content. Contact and application forms operate through the hCaptcha and Web3Forms services, whose own terms apply.
10. Protection of Personal Data
The principles governing the processing of personal data are set out in the KVKK Notice and Privacy Policy, and the use of local storage in the Cookie Policy.
11. Changes
KARCEM reserves the right to change these Terms of Use without prior notice. The current version is published on this page; the effective date is stated below.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by Turkish law. The Istanbul (Bakırköy) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over any disputes.
